99. Rajanagar is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in Coastal region of Odisha and falls in Kendrapara district. Odisha is located in East India. Seat is unreserved.

This Rural constituency has 2,39,852 voters of which 1,26,414 are male and 1,13,438 are female and voters of the third gender.

In the 2019 Odisha Assembly elections, Rajanagar, recorded a voter turnout of 70.27%. The voter turnout in the 2014 Assembly elections was 71.2% and in 2009, 68.68% of Rajanagar's voters came out to elect their Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

In the 2014 Odisha state Assembly elections, Anshuman Mohanty of INC won in this seat defeating BJD's candidate by a margin of 5,429 votes which was 3.46% of the total votes polled. Anshuman Mohanty polled a total of 1,56,747 (48.15%) votes.

BJD's Alekh Kumar Jena won this seat in the 2009 Odisha Assembly elections beating the BJP candidate by a margin of 4335 (3.28%) votes. Alekh Kumar Jena polled 1,32,255 which was 48.15% of the total votes polled.

Rajanagar went to the polls in Phase 4 of the 2019 Odisha Assembly polls on Monday, April 29, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
