This constituency has 12,197 voters of which are male and are female and voters of the third gender.
In the 2019 Sikkim Assembly elections, Temi-Namphing, recorded a voter turnout of 80.18%. The voter turnout in the 2014 Assembly elections was 83.75% and in 2009, 84.96% of Temi-Namphing's voters came out to elect their Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
In the 2014 Sikkim state Assembly elections, Garjaman Gurung of SDF won in this seat defeating SKM's candidate by a margin of 1,389 votes which was 13.6% of the total votes polled. Garjaman Gurung polled a total of 10,215 (52.14%) votes.
SDF's Bedu Singh Panth won this seat in the 2009 Sikkim Assembly elections beating the BSP candidate by a margin of 1740 (19.82%) votes. Bedu Singh Panth polled 8,778 which was 52.14% of the total votes polled.
Temi-Namphing went to the polls in Phase 1 of the 2019 Sikkim Assembly polls on Thursday, April 11, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
