Kimneo Haokip Hangshing of the KPA from Saikul, Kangpokpi district of Manipur is leading.
In Bholath, Congress candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira is leading with 191 votes. Ranjit Singh from AAP and Jagir Kaur from SAD are trailing from the Bholath seat.
The BJP leads in Khurai, Heirok, Chandel, Heingang, Phungyar, Sagolband, Thanga. JG(U) leads in Thangmeiband. Congress has Thoubal, Wabgai, Langthabal, Khangabok.
All pollsters are unanimous about BJP’s better performance. The saffron camp, which won 22 seats in 2017, had stitched up an alliance with the NPP and other regional outfits to form government in the state, with N Biren Singh at the helm.
