MI vs RCB WPL 2023 Highlights: Hayley Matthews Storm Helps MI Tame RCB by 9 Wickets

Three wickets with the ball, and 77 runs with the bat, Hayley Matthews has been the difference maker for Mumbai Indians. Ironically, she went unsold in the first round of WPL 2023 auction, MI later got her on her base price. RCB no match for MI today.

Mumbai Indians make it two in two, what a dominating display this has been from Harmanpreet Kaur’s side. Hayley Matthews 77 and Nat Sciver-Brunt (55) help MI beat RCB by 9 wickets and consolidate their place at the top!

Hayley Matthews completes her fifty, 26 ball half-century and Mumbai Indians in complete control of this match now. Mumbai Indians reach 95/1 after 10 overs, they need just 61 runs in 60 balls.

Matthews goes after Renuka Singh now, two boundaries one towards fine leg, another towards backward point and a total of 11 runs from the over. Mumbai Indians reach 87-1 after 9 overs.

Mumbai Indians in cruise control in this chase, three boundaries from the 8th over and a total of 12 runs came from it. Matthews inching towards her fifty slowly. MI 76/1 after 8 overs.
