TOSS: England opt to bat against Australia.

England were hoping to redeem their campaign in the 50-over format but got off to a bad start by losing the first one-dayer against Australia in Melbourne by six wickets.

But the five-match ODI series gives England a chance to bounce back and draw level here on Friday. The visitors would carry forward the positives from the Tour match against Prime Minister's XI, which they won convincingly by 172 runs.
