A student of class four in Mumbai's Anjuman-I-Islam school, eight-year-old Musheer Khan is already creating records as a professional cricketer. First, he became the youngest cricketer to play the prestigious Kanga League and on Sunday the youngest to claim five wickets with his left-arm spin.

Spinning a web around players thrice his age, Musheer tied the Catholic Gymkhana batsmen into knots with figures of 5 for 78 in 18 overs while playing for the Sportsfield Cricket Club at the Bengal Cricket Club in Mumbai's Shivaji Park on Sunday.

The spin prodigy, who is the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan (the 16-year-old who broke Sachin Tendulkar's records in schools cricket), also starred with the bat - staying on the crease for 65 minutes to help his team earn a draw.

"Now my abba [Sportsfield captain Naushad Khan] will treat me to chicken," Musheer told DNA. "I love to play marbles with my friends when I don't play cricket. Apart from that, I play Subway Surfer on my dad's phone."

The eight-year-old also dismissed Yuvraj Singh during a friendly match in New Delhi recently.
