As it happened: Bangladesh vs India, One-off Test, Day 2

Day 1, Round-up: Bangladesh got a taste of things to come in the next four days of the one-off Test against India as the hosts were kept wicketless on a day that saw rain and runs in equal measure, but couldn’t stop Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay from taking India to 239 for 0 in the 56 overs rain gods allowed.

More than three hours and 34 overs were lost as the heavens opened up, which saved the hosts some of the blushes or else India could have run away with the game as Dhawan (150*) dominated the day with his third Test century and Vijay (89*) joined in, standing just 11 runs away from his sixth hundred in the longer format.
