Kolkata: Bengal rested Rohan Gavaskar and Deep Dasgupta from the 15-member squad for their last preliminary round Ranji Trophy Super League match against Delhi at the Jadavpur University ground in Salt Lake from December 15-18.

Bengal selectors picked wicketkeeper-batsman Shreevats Goswami in place of Dasgupta and Ashok Dinda, who was included in India's Twenty20 squad, came in place for Rohan Gavaskar.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been retained in the side to be led by Laxmi Ratan Shukla.

Having lost to Uttar Pradesh in their sixth round match in Kanpur, Bengal's Ranji campaign has already ended while a win will enable Delhi to make the quarters from Group B.

Bengal have eight points from five outings, while Delhi have 15 points from an identical number of matches.

The Squad: Laxmi Ratan Shukla (c), Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Sourav Ganguly, Ashoke Dinda, Manoj Tiwary, Shreevats Goswami, Rohan Banerjee, Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, Arindam Das, Ranadeb Bose, Sourashish Lahiri, Nilkantha Das, Dibyendu Chakraborty, Sourav Sarkar and Iresh Saxena.
