The previous nine editions of the Indian Premier League have witnessed some spectacular fielding efforts.
The tenth edition of the cash-rich league witnessed its first gravity-defying fielding during the match between Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders in Rajkot.
New Zealand's KKR pacer Trent Boult produced an acrobatic move to stop a six at the boundary ropes during the match.
The incident happened in the 14th over of the match when Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina launched Piyush Chawla over the mid-wicket region.
Boult, who was fielding in the deep, dived to his left, grabbed the ball in the air and threw back.
Though he missed out on a breathtaking catch, he certainly saved four runs for his team.
