Toss won by England (decided to bowl)

England beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets

Man of the Match: Joe Root

GAME OVER! Root finishes it in style, with two boundaries. Great innings by him. Remains unbeaten on 133. His ankle might worry the English team, but a great performance by them. Bangladesh will be a bit disappointed by their batting effort towards the end, and also their bowling. England showed how strong a one-day unit they have become, and why they are the top contenders for the Champions Trophy

England reach 300, just 6 runs required now from 3 overs.

FOUR! Another great shot. Root really showing his class now, slices the ball to the boundary

FOUR! Root with a stunning shot now, England don't want to take it to the last over. Root times the ball beautifully to the cover boundary.

SIX and FOUR! Morgan looking to finish it early now, hits over the cow corner for another big six. Smashes the next one for four through the covers. Mustafizur facing the brunt now.

SIX! Root clears the boundary ropes now. Tonks Rubel over long on. Big hit that!

100! Root completes his ton, great innings from the England Test captain, came in after an early wicket fell, but he played smart cricket and has almost taken England home

50! Morgan reaches his half-century with a four. Reaches off just 45 balls. Important innings by the captain, who will now be looking to bat till the end

Root is edging near to his 100..Playing well on 98.

SIX and FOUR! Morgan smashes the leather off the ball with that six, great hit. Hits it over long on and then stays on the back-foot to cut it to the boundary.

Final 10 overs, and 75 runs are required now. Still eight wickets in hand. Mustafizur seems to be the only bowler likely to get a wicket. Looking tough for Bangladesh.

FOUR! Morgan finds the boundary behind square.  Again Mashrafe strays on the pads, and is punished.

Controversy! Tamim claims what would have been a sensational catch, umpires refer it upstairs, and replays clearly show the ball bounced. Tamim isn't happy.

200 comes up for England in the 34th over..Root and Morgan batting comfortably, without taking any risks.

FOUR! Morgan goes on the back-foot and finds the mid-wicket boundary!

FOUR! Morgan finds the boundary, just wide of mid-on. beats the fielder and reaches the boundary.

Morgan and Root not looking in any hurry here..Required rate is also well under control.

England need 129 from the last 20 over.. They are comfortably ahead at the moment, Bangladesh need some quick wickets,

WICKET! Hales misses out on ton, tries to go for the big shot. But holds out at deep mid-wicket. Dismissed for 95

SIX! Comes down the track and deposits it over long off. That went 92m!

FOUR! Hales goes down on one knee and sweeps Shakib for a boundary.

Great over by Mustafizur. Troubling well settled Hales and Root. Only 1 run coming from it

FOUR! Short and wide, Hales cuts it over the fielder at point, another easy boundary.

100 up foe England, in 18.4 overs. They have recovered well after the early loss of Jason Roy.

FOUR! Joe Root places the ball beautifully, again onto the pads and he shuffles across to send it to the mid-wicket boundary.

50! As pressure was mounting, Hales decides to break the shackles, comes down the track and hits it to the mid wicket boudnary. Also reaches his 50 off just 52 balls.

FOUR! Second of the over, Soumya bowls down the leg side. Easy pickings for a player like Root who just has to get bat on it.

FOUR! Root now finding the boundary, hits it wide of long off for a four. Bangladesh will need a wicket soon if they have to stay in the game

FOUR! Another boundary for Hales, too much roon from Mustafizur, and he just places it to the cover boundary.
