Baidurjo and Pratik: This is all we have from the preview. See you guys in 20 minutes with LIVE blog of the match from the OVAL.

Pratik: Good toss to win for England. Let us have a look at the two teams here.

England: Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan(c), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler(w), Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Liam Plunkett, Mark Wood, Jake Ball

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Mashrafe Mortaza(c), Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain

Baidurjo: Time for the toss here, let us see what happens. England win the toss and decide to field first. Four seamers for England. Mortaza says his team will look to do well.

Pratik: It will be interesting to see how Wood goes against the Bangladesh batsmen after his heroics against South Africa in the last game of the three-match series. He could be the man who makes the difference with his pace.

Baidurjo: Batting is Bangladesh's strength as well and for the first time in a while both Imrul Kayes and Tamim Iqbal are playing together and they are undoubtedly Bangladesh's best bet.

Pratik: The Oval is known to prepare batting friendly pitches and going by England's batting order, it is definitely a boon. Apart from Roy who is off-colour, England have quality batsmen in Alex Hales, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes.

Baidurjo: News of Ben Stokes not being a 100% is also something that will have increased Bangladesh's confidence going into the tournament opener. Stokes not able to bowl will make life slightly difficult for Morgan when it comes to deciding on the playing XI.

Pratik: A one-off collapse does not really prove to be a deterrent. Also, England have won 25 out of the 43 ODIs that they have played at the Oval and that augurs well for the confidence of the Englishmen.

Baidurjo: But then, they were reeling at 20/6 after 5 overs in the last game at Lord's and if that should definitely be a welcome sign for Bangladesh pacers like Mortaza and Mustafizur Rahman.

Pratik: Having beaten South Africa 2-1 in the just concluded ODI series in the lead-up to the Champions Trophy, Morgan and his boys will be on a high and the Proteas are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the circuit.

Baidurjo: Cricket my friend is not played on paper and going by Bangladesh's rise in the 50-over and T20 format, I would be very surprised if Mashrafe Mortaza's team doesn't take oppositions by surprise.

Pratik: Very well pointed Baidurjo. But somewhere, England look much better on paper and Bangladesh will have their task cut-out taking on Eoin Morgan's team at home.

Baidurjo: Yes, no doubt it will be exciting to see the teams battle it out over the next 18 days to take home the title. And the start couldn't have been better for the tournament as two of the most improved teams in the 50-over format start off at the Oval.

Pratik: Hello Baidurjo and all the cricket fans here. Here we are, IPL season done with and time for ICC's showpiece event. The Champions Trophy is second only to the 50-over World Cup. Expect 18 days of non-stop thrilling action from England.

Hi, I am Baidurjo, correspondent at Cricketnext, and I have with me my colleague Pratik Sagar. While I will be fighting Bangladesh's case, Pratik will bat for hosts England.
