New Delhi: Gurgaon police registered an FIR against India's premier batsman Yuvraj Singh for being involved in a drunken brawl on Tuesday night.
Yuvraj Singh's 25th birthday celebrations were marred by the unsavoury incident involving a guest. The brawl involved a young neighbour and his mother leading to a police inquiry into the incident.
Yuvraj, who is not a part of the touring Indian team to South Africa due to injury, was accused of beating up Yuvraj Mahajan at his own birthday party.
Yuvraj was present at the party along with Bollywood actress Kim Sharma, who is also accused of being involved.
Neelam Mahajan, a journalist and the mother of Yuvraj Mahajan, who filed the complaint to police, said that Yuvraj had an argument with her son before breaking into a fight in a drunken state.
Yuvraj Mahajan was taken to hospital after the incident.
Yuvraj Singh is being questioned at his residence in Gurgaon by police for his involement in the incident.
