Family is Everything: T Natarajan Pens a Sweet Note for His Four-month-old Daughter

India pacer T Natarajan has been named in the 19 member T20I squad for the upcoming five-match series. Ahead of the series, the fast bowler is spending some quality time back home in Kerala with his wife and his newborn daughter. He took to social media to post a picture of his four-month-old bundle of joy for the first time. Taking to Instagram, on Monday, Natarajan shared a heart-touching post. The photo shared by him features his wife and their baby girl who they named Hanvika. In the caption, the 29-year-old penned a touching note on behalf of him and his wife for their daughter.

“Our little angel Hanvika. You are our life’s most beautiful gift. You are the reason why our life is so much happier.Thank you laddu for choosing us as ur parents.we love u always and forever,” reads the caption.

Back in November 2020, the Tamil Nadu youngster was playing for his Indian Premier League (IPL) side, SunRisers Hyderabad. Towards the end of the cash-rich league in the UAE, he became a father to the newborn daughter but chose to stay back on national duty. The left-arm seamer was picked as a net bowler ahead of India’s tour of England. Natarajan garnered admiration for choosing to represent his country, sacrificing seeing his first child. However, he made the most of his maiden call-up and gave a stellar debut in all three formats.

He became the first Indian player to debut across all the three formats on the same tour. His outstanding yorkers, he capped off the series with six wickets in three matches. The Salem-born only saw his daughter for the first time last month after returning home.

He was rested for home’s ongoing Test series versus England but will be back in action in the T20I series beginning March 12.
