Fleming rules out being India coach

Wellington: Former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming has dismissed reports suggesting him to be India's cricket coach once South African Gary Kirsten steps down from the post after the World Cup.

Media reported Fleming as the front-runner for the high-profile job but the current Chennai Super Kings coach does not consider coaching as his top priority as of now.

The New Zealand Herald reported on Tuesday that for Fleming coaching is not an important part of his life at the moment.

He said cricket is only important for him two to three months a year when he is looking after the Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The report said that he is enjoying his career in business and has made a commitment to spending more time with his family.
