Australia beat India by 35 runs to script history winning their first series in India since 2009. Incidentally, it was the also the last time India lost three ODIs in a row at home. That defeat too came against Australia in 2009. It was the first time in four years that India lost an ODI series at home, it was against South Africa in 2015. The loss is far from ideal for India who were eager to have a look at players ahead of the 2019 World Cup.
