India beat Australia by 8 wickets

Man of the Match: Ravindra Jadeja

KL Rahul has done it for India. Picks three to complete his 50 and finish off the chase. India win by 8 wickets to seal the series 2-1. Brilliant show by the boys as Virat Kohli cheers from trhe dressing room. Clinical effort on the fourth morning.

India need two runs and Rahul need one run to complete his 50 as Rahane gives him the strike.

Another four runs as Rahane tries to flick Lyon and the ball hits the pad and goes to the fine-leg boundary. India now need just six runs to win the match and series

Four more for Rahane as he sweeps O' Keefe to the fine-leg boundary. India now 11 runs away from sealing the series. India's score reads 95/2. The 49-run partnership between the two has come at break neck speed

Another boundary for Rahul. Gets back on the backfoot and punches that to the point region. Lyon watches on. India's score reads 89/2 as Rahul moves to 46

Solid show by both Rahane and Rahul this morning. Rahane has looked a completely different character, taking the attack to the Aussies from the word go. India's score reads 84/2

BACK TO BACK SIX! First a pulled six and then Rahane makes room and hits Cummins over the point region for another maximum. This is superb batting by Rahane here. India's score reads 83/2, need another 23

Rahul moves to 42 with this shot as the umpires call for drinks. It has been an exhilarating first hour of play in Dharamsala. India's score reads 71/2

Lyon has looked to bowl good lines here. He is not giving anything away to the Indian batsmen. He wants the Indians to earn every single run. India's score reads 68/2

Another short one and this one is another boundary for Rahane. He is in no mood to slow down here and Cummins is leaking the runs. India's score moves to 67/2, need another 39 runs with 8 wickets in hand

Rahane tries to pull this one from Cummins, but the ball hurries on and hits Rahane in the hand and almost rolled onto the stumps. But thankfully it rolled away from the stumps.

Another unnecessary quick single. No need for these as Maxwell hits the stumps again. But this time round, Rahul had reached the crease well in advance. India's score reads 63/2, need another 43

A thick outside edge off Rahul's bat as the ball runs to the third man boundary. The Australians cannot believe their luck. India's score moves to 61/2, need another 44 runs

Rahane is not looking to waste time in the middle. He is happy to play the shots, be it the drive, pull or sweep. India's score reads 57/2

Cummins is not done here yet. This one climbs on Rahul from just short of a goodlength. But Rahul does well to drop one hand and keep the ball down. This could have so easily gone to the gully fielder if Rahul had not got in behind the line of the ball. India's score reads 56/2, need another 50

BACK TO BACK BOUNDARIES! First a back foot punch through the off-side and then a pull off Cummins. Rahane means business here. No holding back for the stand-in skipper. India's score reads 55/2, need another 51 to win

Rahane comes in to join Rahul in the middle. India still need 60 runs and this game is not over yet. The wicket is getting worse with each passing delivery, mainly the uneven bounce. India's score reads 46/2

RUN OUT! That was completely uncalled for. There was no run here and the hesitation between Rahul and Pujara did not help matters. Brilliant throw this from Maxwell. Hits the stumps direct as Rahul looks on in disbelief. India's score reads 47/2

WICKET! Cummins gets Vijay. This one is a beauty. Pitches in line and moves slightly to take the edge of Vijay's bat as Wade completes a regulation catch behind the wicket. Vijay goes for 8 as India need another 60 runs.
