It didn’t take long for Australia to dismiss India for 140 on the final day of the Perth Test and hand visitors a 146-run defeat. The morning started with a cautious approach from Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant, but the former was dismissed in an unlucky manner, giving a simple catch to Marcus Harris off Mitchell Starc.

Post that wicket, it was a complete downhill for the visitors as the lower-order batsmen failed to show any resistance and last three wickets could just add three runs to the total.

With this Tim Paine and his side earned a lot of praise for the way they performed throughout the game, especially after the suffered a loss at Adelaide.

Possibly, the match defining stat came from Brydon Coverdale, which spoke volumes about the big difference between the two sides.
