Father's Day par Bete ke saath final hai. Mazaak ko serious mat liyo bete.
INDIA WIN: That's it, India have beaten Bangladesh by 9 wickets to seal a place in the final. More importantly, it is India vs Pakistan in the epic final clash. Rohit Sharma starred with a ton while Virat Kohli slammed a magnificent 96 as India chased down the taget with 9.5 overs to spare.
Four: Virat Kohli also wants a hundred today as he bludgeons the ball towards the deep mid-wicket boundary. And by doing so, Virat Kohli also becomes the quickest player to notch up 8,000 runs (in 175 innings) What a player!
Four and Four: Shakib drifts onto Kohli's pads and the Indian skipper flicks it behind the keeper for a boundar. While, two balls later, Rohit Sharma plays a brilliant inside out shot for a boundary and India are just 16 runs away from victory.
Four: This is just unbelievable from the Bangladeshi bowlers. They continue to stick to the short-ball strategy and the the Indian batsmen continue to hit then for boundaries. Another short ball from Taskin Ahmed is duly dispatched by Rohit, who hits his 14th boundary of the innings.
Four: Rohit Sharma wants to finish the game off early as he hits yet another boundary. Taskin Ahmed bowls a half-volley and Rohit hits the ball straight down the ground for a boundary towards long-off.
This is how Virat Kohli celebrated Rohit Sharma's century. The Indian skipper hugged the Hitman after he notched up his 11th century in ODIs.
SIX and 100: What a way to bring up your 11th ODI ton. Short delivery from Mustafizur and Rohit goes for a pull-shot and the ball beats the fine leg fielder to the ropes. First century of the tournament for the hitman.
Four: Whenever Mustafizur is coming to the crease to bowl, he is being spanked for a boundary by either of these two batsmen. This time, Virat hits the ball straight down the ground for a boundary towards long-off. There is no stopping the Indian skipper who is also the best chaser in the world!
This is how the crowd celebrated Virat Kohli's half-century at Edgbaston
Four: Virat Kohli too hits a four off the bowling of Mahmudullah as he caresses the ball through the covers for his seventh boundary of the innings. Indian edging closer to the 200-run mark.
Four: Mahmudullah is introduced into the attack and Rohit Sharma greets him with a boundary. A short ball from Mahmudullah and Rohit had more than enough time to go on the back foot and hit the ball on the off-side.
100 Partnership: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have also put on a 100-run stand for the second wicket off just 89 deliveries. The duo have made this chase look like child's play with their sublime hitting. India in firm control of the chase.
Four and 50: Another short ball and another boundary for Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper gets on top of the ball and hits it towards the mid-wicket boundary for his sixth four of the innings. With that, Kohli notches up his half-century off just 42 deliveries.
Chance: Rohit comes dancing down the track and hits the ball straight into the air. But the Indian opener survives as the ball falls in between the cover fielder and long off fielder. A brain freeze moment for Rohit as this shot wasn't required at all.
Shakib Al Hasan has bowled well and hasn't given runs like his teammates have done in this innings. However, even he hasn't come up with a wicket-taking delivery to trouble the Indian batsmen.
Both Rohit and Kohli are making a mockery of the chase and are scoring runs at a fast pace. This match is looking like it will finish a bit early if Bangladesh don't come up with something really spectacular.
