India vs England: Ravichandran Ashwin’s Tweets Leave Netizens Confused

The last Test match is scheduled to start from March 4 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Motera Test has been extra special for Ravichandran Ashwin as he reached the 400 Test wickets milestone. His performance has left many cricketers and commentators mind blown. However, now he seems to have stirred a controversy with a series of tweets that he shared a day after India’s memorable win against England.

In his tweets, he has used words such as products, marketing strategies and outbound marketing. He has spoken about how products are sold in the market by using different marketing strategies. A part of his first tweet reads, “We now live in an era where ideas are also being sold to us and it’s a classic example of ‘outbound marketing’.”

In the subsequent tweet, the ace bowler said that buying ideas in the way they are sold is like telling the person, “You can’t think on your own."Lashing out further, he wrote that his decade-long experience has taught him that till the time people are going to buy the idea, ‘they’ will keep shoving it down their throats.

The final tweet of the series advocated that people can have their own opinion and have the choice of standing by it, even if the majority is against it.

His fans and followers on the microblogging site are also clueless about the reason behind his tweets. Some people have asked him the reason,while quite a few of them have directly asked what he means by these posts. People were also divided on his performance. Some people said that he could take as many as seven wickets because of pitch condition, while some wrote that it was actually his effort that had borne fruits.
