India vs England: Shikhar Dhawan Shares a Pic with the ‘Boys’ from Inside the Dressing Room

Shikhar Dhawan took to Instagram to share a picture with his fellow India teammates. In the photo, Shikhar is joined by Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav. The click seems to be from the dressing room and all the boys can be seen smiling and chilling. While sharing the post, the left-handed swashbuckler wrote, “Lovely meeting the boys and outstanding knocks by @rishabpant and @rohitsharma45.”

Suryakumar replied in the comments space saying, “Shikhi bhai I see @rishabpant is tired hahaha”

Suryakumar, who earned a maiden call-up to play in the ongoing India vs England series, will be seen in action during the five-match T20I series. Dhawan is also a part of the T20I squad against England.

Suryakumar impressed with his knocks playing for Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 and grabbed attention with his performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His last appearance for India was in the limited-overs leg of India's tour of Australia.

Kuldeep, Rohit and Pant have been playing in the ongoing Test series. On Day 2 of the 4th Test which is ongoing in Ahmedabad, both Rohit and Pant starred with their batting.

Rohit, at the top of the order, contributed a crucial 49 while Pant went all guns blazing hitting 101 off just 118 balls. Tamil Nadu all-rounder Washington Sundar made a fifty as the team finished 294 for 7, getting a lead by 89 runs in the first innings. The T20I series will be played in Ahmedabad on March 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20. It will be followed by a three-match ODI series to take place on March 23, 26 and 28.

After winning the Test series opener, England lost to the hosts in the next two fixtures. This led to their elimination from contention for the World Test Championship final. India should emerge victorious in the last Test to make it to the final and play New Zealand at Lord's.
