New Delhi: Hours away from their second game of the season against Rising Pune Supergiant, Delhi Daredevils are sweating it out at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The season hasn’t started well for the Daredevils with Royal Challengers Bangalore beating them on Saturday by 15 runs.
But the Delhi boys are keen to get back with a bang against Steven Smith’s boys in the second game of the season. The team posted a picture on Twitter which read: “Our #DilliBoys have had an intense practice session and are all charged up for the match tonight. Only a couple of hours left! #DilDilliHai pic.twitter.com/w7OZBuVbGK.”

Foreign recruits Pat Cummins, Corey Anderson, Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris are seen sweating it out under the sun. While Cummins and Morris were a part of the playing XI against RCB, Anderson and Rabada didn’t find a place in the team.
But both of them have made their intentions clear and want a place in the team. With Carlos Brathwaite failing with both bat and ball, scoring a run and giving away 29 runs from his two overs, it could well be that Anderson finds a place in the team for the second game against Pune.
Pune too have had their own problems. While they won the opening game against Mumbai Indians, they were thrashed in the second game by Kings XI Punjab in Indore.
