Match 12, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru 14 April, 2019

Toss won by Mumbai Indians (decided to bowl)

Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets

Man of the Match: Kieron Pollard

Hardik Pandya finishes off with a huge six over long-on. That was in the slot from Mills and Hardik is in great form and would not miss that one. MI win by four wickets with seven balls to go. Krunal unbeaten on 37

Krunal Pandya starts with a boundary and it is almost in the bag for Mumbai from here. 8 now needed off 11 balls. Mills will not be too happy with his bowling here.

13 runs off the 18th over as MI now need just 10 runs off the last 2 overs. Krunal has played a brilliant knock here and this will help him gain in confidence later in the season. MI's score reads 133/6

FOR THE RECORD: The 93-run partnership of Pollard and Krunal was the highest 6th wicket partnership of IPL 2017.

WICKET! After Pollard hits Chahal for a six, he gets his man. This time he goes for another one and ABD is there at the long boundary to pick the catch. Pollard goes for 70. MI's score reads 126/6

10 runs off that Aravind over as MI now need just 23 from 3 overs. Pollard has played a brilliant knock and is batting on 64 with Krunal on 31. MI's score reads 120/5

Krunal gets a cheeky boundary off Aravind as Mills rolls over the ball. Kohli is not at all pleased with the effort as MI now need 25 runs off 20 balls. This should be easy

BACK TO BACK MAXIMUMS! Pollard finishes the over in style. After just singles right through the over, Pollard goes straight and flat first and then high with the next one. 50 up for Pollard off 41 balls. MI now need just 33 off 24 balls.

Negi back to bowl the 16th over and Mumbai Indians need a boundary here to keep it steady and pressure-free. MI's score reads 95/5

Good over for MI here, 11 runs coming off Mills' third over. Good going for Pollard and Krunal. MI's score reads 91/5, need 52 off 30 balls

Krunal goes full throttle and pierces the inner field here past covers to get a much-needed boundary. MI's score reads 86/5

Mills bowling a variety of slower balls and the ball is stopping on the batsmen here. Pollard and Krunal finding it difficult to read him here. Just 2 runs off the first three balls as MI's score reads 82/5

MAXIMUM! Pollard goes for the big one and clears extra cover. That looked like it was not off the middle, but that travels over the ropes. Negi cannot believe his luck. MI's score reads 80/5. MI need 63 off 6 overs

Negi into the attack and he will need to get Kohli a wicket here as Pollard and Krunal are looking comfortable in here. MI's score reads 73/5

11 runs off that Binny over and that augurs well for Mumbai Indians as they need to bring down the scoring rate. MI's score reads 65/5, need 78 off 48 balls

FOR THE RECORD: Pollard has completed 7000 runs in T20s. He is the fifth batsman to do so after Gayle, McCullum, Hodge and Warner.

Pollard picks on Binny and hoicks him between mid-wicket and wide long-on. Waited for that one and then went full strength. Four important runs here. MI's score reads 59/5

Six runs from that over from Mills as Pollard and Krunal are looking to slowly take the attack to the RCB bowlers. MI's score reads 54/5, need 89 off 54 balls

MAXIMUM! Krunal spoils Chahal's perfect over with a six off the last ball over long-off. Bends on his knees and goes straight. MI's score reads 48/5

Kohli and Gayle having fun in the middle. RCB clearly on top here with MI needing 106 runs off 66 balls with five wickets in the bag. MI's score reads 37/5

FOR THE RECORD: Badree's figures of 4/9 is the best bowling figures of IPL 2017

WICKET! Number 4 for Badree here. Bowls that short and Rana hits that straight into the hands of Sreenath Aravind to go for 11 off 17 balls. This is a big blow here. MI's score reads 33/5

FOR THE RECORD: MI's score of 21/4 is the lowest score in powerplay in IPL 2017. It is also MI's lowest powerplay score against RCB in IPL. They have equalled their 2nd lowest score in powerplay in IPL.

MAXIMUM! Pollard welcomes Chahal to the bowling crease with a huge six. Pollard realises the need to keep scoring the boundaries as well apart from picking the singles and doubles. MI's score reads 27/4

3 runs off Badree's third over as Mumbai Indians' score reads 21/4 after 6 overs with Pollard on 5 and Rana on 8. Badree's figures read 3/7 off 3 overs

18/4 after 5 overs for Mumbai Indians with Pollard and Rana at the crease. MI need 125 runs with 6 wickets in the bag.

First boundary of the innings off the 28th delivery of the innings. Rare bad delivery from Mills and Rana is quick to capitalise on that. MI's score reads 16/4

Pollard and Rana just looking to pick the singles here. The required rate is still under control and MI need to ensure that they don't lose any more wickets as of now.

Tymal Mills into the attack. That is a good start here from RCB. MI's score reads 10/4 after 4.1 overs. Brilliant job so far from RCB's bowlers

FOR THE RECORD: Badree now has bowled 20 maiden overs in T20, the most by a player.
