Match 1, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad 05 April, 2018

Toss won by Royal Challengers Bangalore (decided to bowl)

Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 35 runs

Man of the Match: Yuvraj Singh

OUT! Chahal is run out as Aniket hits that one straight to mid-wicket and Chahal goes for a non-existent run. Chahal run out by Jordan for 3 as RCB is all out for 172. SRH win by 35 runs.

SIX more for RCB. Aniket hits that for a maximum and that will help RCB as every run helps in improving the run rate

Cutting to bowl the last over here as RCB need 43 runs off the last 6 balls. Great start for the defending champions on their home ground.

OUT! Mills departs for six as Warner picks a good catch off Bhuvneshwar's bowling. One more wicket needed here for SRH to finish this game. Seven balls left in the match. RCB's score reads 164/9

SIX! That was a square driven six off Bhuvneshwar. Mills shows his strength as that is a batsman special shot there. But too late in the day for RCB here. Score reads 164/8

51 needed off 11 balls here for RCB and this looks improbable with just two wickets left in the bag and Chahal and Mills at the batting crease. It will now be about getting as close as possible to keep a good run-rate

100th WICKET for Nehra in the IPL. Picks two out of two. This time it is a deadly yorker to send back Aravind for a duck. RCB's score reads 156/8. Nehra has had a tough start and comes back well in the end.

OUT! Watson goes back and looks like the final nail in the coffin. Low full toss and Watson manages to only scoop that one to Henriques at cover. RCB's score reads 156/7. Nehra gets a wicket as Watson goes for 22

KP, Brett Lee and Ravi Shastri having fun in the commentary box. The panel has some pretty interesting names this time round.

OUT! Bhuvneshwar sees the back of Binny. Tries to go for the drive and only manages to slash that hard to Yuvraj at third-man. That was an easy catch. RCB's score reads 154/6 as Binny goes for 11.

DROPPED! Binny hits that high into the night sky and Naman Ojha calls for it. But fails to hold onto that one. Yuvraj is not too happy with that effort. Binny gets a life on 11 as RCB's score reads 153/5

Watson creams that on the off-side to pick another boundary through the cover region. Watson hit that all along the ground to bring up RCB's 150.

SIX! Binny launches into the short one from Cutting. This was one 87m long. Need at least a few more sixes before they can get close to SRH's total. RCB's score reads 146/5

SIX! Watson gets a six off the last ball of Rashid Khan's spell. That one was short and Watson rocked back on the backfoot and hit that straight into the long on fence. RCB's score reads 139/5

OUT! Baby is gone now. The pressure of run-rate is getting to the RCB batsmen. Bipul picks up his first wicket as Baby goes for 1. Henriques completes an easy catch at mid-wicket. RCB's score reads 128/5

Bipul Sharma introduced into the attack after the time-out. Sachin Baby and Shane Watson at the crease. Uphill task for RCB from here on. RCB's score reads 127/4

OUT! Rashid now has the back of Head. This one was another attempted sweep, but Head fails to clear Yuvraj who picks up an easy catch. Head goes for 30 with the score reading 126/4

Head hits a loose delivery from Rashid into the mid-wicket fence. That was a full toss and Head simply swept it to the boundary. Much-needed four runs here for RCB. The score reads 126/3

Watson has joined Head in the middle. It will be crucial that Watson plays a captain's knock if RCB have to win this one from here. SRH are clearly on top at this moment with the score reading 121/3

OUT! Brilliant direct hit from Cutting to send back Kedar for 31. He had hit that one towards long leg and was looking to complete a double, but a direct hit cut short his stay. RCB's score reads 116/3

BACK TO BACK BOUNDARY here for Kedar. This time he plays the swivel pull as the ball goes to the fine-leg boundary. Nehra has had a very bad outing tonight. RCB's score reads 110/2

Another boundary from Kedar here. He had sized Nehra well before the ball was delivered and he just picked that off the legs and sent it to the mid-wicket boundary. RCB's score reads 106/2

100 up for RCB. That is a wide one down the leg side from Nehra. Even though the umpire calls it wide, did not look too far from Kedar's leg stump there. RCB need another 108 runs to win this game.

Boundary for Kedar. He goes straight back over Henriques's head and there is no stopping that one. RCB's score reads 98/2 as Kedar and Head look to take RCB close to the SRH total.

FREE HIT and a BOUNDARY! Henriques pitches that one up and Head goes straight down the ground. Warner cannot stop that one from going into the boundary. RCB's score reads 91/2

SIX! Cutting bowls that short and Kedar was waiting on that one and immediately went on the backfoot to send it to the mid-wicket fence. Kedar needs to keep the scoreboard ticking. RCB's score reads 85/2

Rashid bowls this one short and this time Kedar goes for the pull and picks up four more runs. Kedar picked the length up very quickly and made no mistake here. RCB's score reads 74/2
