New Delhi: After missing the initial stages of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to an injury, Virat Kohli is now back with a bang for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Since his return, the RCB skipper has slammed two half-centuries and it seems that he was never out of the action.
But Kohli is leaving no stones unturned in order to get back to his best and for doing so, he has once again teamed up with trainer Shankar Basu. It is no secret that Basu is the man behind the extreme fitness level that Kohli has reached in the last couple of years and the India and RCB skipper wasted no time to post a photo with Basu (also a part of the RCB support staff) on Instagram.
Also present in the picture is Evan Speechly, who is the current physiotherapist of Indian national team and also RCB.
Virat Kohli's Instagram post read: "Gymming with my 2 champions. Absolutely love these guys. Such fun to work with 🙏😃😇. Mr Evan speechly our physio and the super trainer mr Shankar Basu"
Kohli sustained a shoulder injury during the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ranchi, which forced him to miss the fourth Test against Australia as well the first few days of the IPL.
In the absence of Kohli, Bangalore were struggling to find a foothold in the league and lost three out of four matches. But with Kohli back in the line-up, Bangalore will be eager to close the gap at the top.
