New Delhi: Yuzvendra Chahal has impressed one and all with his performance over the last couple of seasons in the IPL. And even in the 10th edition, while Royal Challengers Bangalore lost to defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs, Chahal bowled really well and finished with figures of 1/22 off his four overs. And he has been gifted a laptop by coach Daniel Vettori for his impressive spell.
Acer has decided that after every game, one RCB player will be named performer of the match as per coach Vettori’s assessment of the game and after the first game, the coach decided that Chahal was the star performer for the team.

Chahal indeed deserves the award for his miserly spell. Even though Hyderabad amassed 207 runs in their 20 overs with Yuvraj Singh scoring a quickfire 62 off 27 balls and Moises Henriques hitting 52 off 37 balls.
Chasing 208 for a win, RCB managed just 172 as none of the top-order batsmen managed to score big. Chris Gayle was the highest scorer with 32 off 21 balls.
But RCB came back strongly to beat Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs in the second game and now have two points from two games.
