IPL 2018: Rested From National Duty, PV Sindhu Enjoys SRH Game

IPL fever in India is such that it does not even spare badminton star PV Sindhu. A strong Sunrisers Hyderabad supporter, Sindhu was seen cheering for the franchise in their match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Usually busy Sindhu, who is being rested for the upcoming Thomas & Uber Cup, was seen hoisting the SRH flag along with other fans.

This is not the first time that the lanky shuttler came out to support the Hyderabad based team. In the previous editions too, she was seen extending her support to the SRH.

As far as the team is concerned, they have already sealed a playoff berth and are at the top of the points table. This means that they will get two shots at the trophy. The key reason for SRH’s success has been their bowlers, who have chipped-in with wickets at regular intervals, be it Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan or Siddarth Kaul.

After a few misses, even their batting has started firing under stalwart and skipper Kane Williamson. This year Williamson has scored 661 runs in 14 games, and is the orange cap holder too. Shikhar Dhawan too has been in decent form and has played a few crucial innings for his team.
