The hard work and love for the game that I've seen in Arjun is immense. During the MPL, we used to have long chats about the game and it was so good to see his dedication for the game.
He's just begun, so like any other youngster, let's motivate him to do well 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/Gg6aos6HAg

Arjun, who is the son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has been receiving mixed reactions ever since the IPL 2021 auction in February. Some cricket enthusiasts have been of the opinion that he has gotten a chance in the IPL because of his father, while another set of people are of the view that it is his talent that has gotten him the IPL ticket.
Vinod’s post too received mixed responses from his fans. A group of people joined the former Indian cricketer in extending good wishes to Arjun. They wrote things like ‘Let him fight his battle’, ‘Let’s support-him’ among other things. However, another set of people did not seem to be happy with the post. Someone even went to the extent of writing, ‘he got selected because of his surname.
Take a look at some of the reactions on Vinod Kambli’s post:
Lot's of real young talent awaiting whole life for a single chance & one day they announce retirement without getting a single chance😂 same happened with you, you deserve more lavish retirement than actual happened🙏

Arjun at MI – Congrats to family. I know that Arjun is different person and he will make his own space. Best wishes. Only thing I want him is to smile n enjoy every moment of cricket. Forget criticism n comparisons. Keep smiling (you look serious) like your dad.

Let him fight his battle, including criticism over IPL auction, like another youngsters. That would be in his interest, and not this show of public support.
Struggle and success are two sides of same coin. That is what you and Sachin would like to tell others!

I feel I should say this about #Arjun_Tendulkar. We frequent the same gym & I’ve seen how hard he works on his fitness, seen his focus to be a better cricketer. To throw the word ‘nepotism’ at him is unfair & cruel. Don’t murder his enthusiasm & weigh him down before he’s begun.

Meanwhile, actor Farhan Akhtar too had urged people to not judge the cricketer even before he had started. He also mentioned that he and Arjun go to the same gym and he himself has seen how hard he works on his fitness. Further, the versatile actor also urged to not kill his enthusiasm at this stage.
