DAY 1

Delhi Daredevils thought they had bought Kieron Pollard for a bargain amount of Rs. 5.40 Cr and coach Ricky Ponting was seemingly excited about the business. However, MI came in and used the RTM card for him and the Mumbai owners were happy about their all-rounder coming back to them.

Seems like Mumbai Indians are going all-out for bowlers as after getting hold of Mustafizur, they sign Pat Cummins for 5.4 Cr.

Former Kolkata Knight Riders vice captain Surya Kumar Yadav started a very heated bidding battle teams like Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. Ultimately Mumbai won the race for his signature at 3.2 Cr after every other team pulled out. Yadav's base price was 30Lakh only.

Krunal Pandya heads to Mumbai Indians after the defending champions used the Right to Match card for him. Krunal was the man of the match in the final of last edition of the Indian Premier League. Krunal has been retained for a huge sum of 8.8 Cr.

Ishan Kishan was bought for a humongous sum of 6.2 crore.

DAY 2

Mumbai the only bid for Mayank Markande and get him at Rs 20 Lakh. They also bid for wicket keeper Aditya Tare and get him for his base price of Rs 20 Lakh.

Mumbai get Siddesh Lad for his base price of Rs 20 Lakh.

Mumbai Indian fought off the challenge of Sunrisers Hyderabad to land the explosive West Indian opener Even Lewis for a whopping sum of 3.2 Cr. In just his very second T20I, Lewis scored a blistering century against India in the first match of the series in the USA. During his innings, he hit 5 sixes off 5 balls in an over bowled by Stuart Binny. Unfortunately, he couldn't send the last ball out of the park but made 32 runs(1 run made by a wide) in that over. He made his second T20I hundred on 9 July 2017 against India at Sabina Park. He smashed 125*, which is recorded as the highest score in a T20I chase.

Rahul Chahar is the first man to come under the hammer on the second day of the auction. Intense battle going on for the spin bowler as Rajasthan, Mumbai are going head to head for Chahar. His base price his 20L but his bidding price has already gone upto 75L

Ben Cutting lands a lucrative contract for this edition of the Indian Premier League as he is sold to Mumbai Indians for 2.2 Cr. Afghan star Mohammad Nabi is sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for 1 Cr. It was SRH who gave Nabi the first contract in the league and now he is back with them.
