Kenya captain says his team is united

Colombo: Kenya captain Jimmy Kamande says the team is united and will give "110 per cent" against co-host Sri Lanka in their World Cup Group A match on Tuesday.

Cricket Kenya chief Samir Inamdar is reported to have cited differences between players and coach Eldine Baptiste as the reason for the African nation's two heavy defeats against New Zealand and Pakistan.

Kamande says "when the team loses, people try to find a way for excuses (but) there's no excuses on those lines."

The Kenyan captain also says the team is "very solid and we are all together as one."

New Zealand bowled out Kenya for 69 runs for a 10-wicket victory while Pakistan recorded a 205-run win over the 2003 semifinalist.
