After the T20I series ended in a stalemate, the Indian cricket team will now take on Australia in a four-match Test series. In the absence of their premier batsman Steve Smith and opener David Warner, serving bans from domestic and international cricket along with Cameron Bancroft, Virat Kohli and his side have a great chance to become the first Indian side to register a Test series win Down Under.

With the first Test only starting on December 6, there is some time off for the players before they get to the grind of the five-day format. One of the players, KL Rahul decided to hit his favourite pancake place in Brisbane, and tagged Dinesh Karthik and Washington Sundar along with him.

The trio headed to ‘Pancake Manor’ - originally a cathedral, now converted to a 24-hour eatery with a bar, located in the heart of the city.

“It is like a ritual for me whenever I come to Brisbane,” said KL Rahul in the clip posted by BCCI. “I eat the pancakes here and indulge my guilty pleasure.”

While Karthik and Sundar are not a part of the Test squad, Rahul is the first-pick opener for India when the Test series kick off Thursday next week, while a returning Murali Vijay and teenager Prithvi Shaw will battle for the second opener’s slot.
