The Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Delhi Daredevils match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday saw a catch that could probably rank the best among the assisted catches the game of cricket has witnessed of late.
Delhi batsman Shreyas Iyer (0) miscued a big hit, which saw Shane Watson sprinting back from mid-on to long-on circling under the ball. He judged it perfectly and caught the ball but realised that the momentum will carry him over the ropes.
The retired Australian allrounder flicked the ball back in air towards David Weise who was running behind him. It was to the right of Weise, some distance away, but the South African made a splendid dive to grab it inches above the grass.

However, RCB failed to defend the 191 they scored as Delhi, led by the 134-run partnership between Quinton De Kock (108) and Karun Nair (54), won by 7 wickets.
