New Delhi: After failing to garner enough votes to stall the restructuring of the ICC revenue model, there was further bad news for the BCCI as senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official Najam Sethi announced on Wednesday that the PCB has intimated BCCI on taking legal recourse as the BCCI did not honour the MoU pertaining to bilateral series between the two nations.

Sethi took to Twitter to post: “PCB has told BCCI it is suing for compensation against BCCI's refusal to play bilateral series as per Agreement signed in 2014.”

The BCCI and PCB had signed a MoU which stated that they will play multiple bilateral series between 2015 and 2023. But the BCCI did not get the approval of the central government to play Pakistan due to cross-border terrorism activities.

Sethi also tweeted that ECB chairman Giles Clarke had reviewed the situation in Pakistan and there is a proposal of having three T20 International between the home team and a World XI side.

He also did not miss out on tweeting about BCCI losing the fight to stall the process of restructuring of ICC’s revenue model.
