Happy Birthday Mohammed Siraj: A Look at the Pacer's Promising Career so far in Pictures

We bring you some of the key moments of Mohammad Siraj's career through his instagram posts.

Mohammed Siraj made his debut for India in 2017 against New Zealand in Rajkot and since then, he has blown hot and cold until earlier this year, when he really grabbed his chance and shocked everyone with his lion-hearted performances against Australia Down Under. With India without any of their frontline pacers, Siraj led the attack with panache and returned with a five-for in the second innings of the Brisbane Test to set up India’s historic win at the ‘Gabbatoir’ — which was signed off by Rishabh Pant eventually.

Siraj’s meteoric rise from being the son of an autorickshaw driver to earning INR 2 crore plus contracts in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and then going on to become India’s lead pacer in only his third Test match is nothing short of inspirational for kids. The hard work, graft and the success that followed is a lesson for youngsters across all fields.

As he turns 27, we take a look at the journey of the young man from the streets of Hyderabad to the watershed moment in Brisbane.
