Ahead of India Legends' match against England Legends in the Road Safety World Series, former India opener Virender Sehwag shared a video on social media to give fans a peek into legend Sachin Tendulkar's recovery process. In the video being recorded by Sehwag, we see Master Blaster in conversation with the team's physio. Tendulkar is sitting with him with a needle inserted in one of his elbows. Former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also makes an appearance. Sehwag asks the physio about Tendulkar’s fitness status.

The physio responded affirmatively that the batting legend will be able to play his next match,however Tendulkar said he will try his best. Sehwag’s chatter with his former opening partner getting treatment, putsthe latter’s nervousness at ease. Ahead of the fixture, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh the trio, who are part of the Indian Legends, engage in some light-hearted banter.

The Road Safety World Series,aimed at creating awareness about road safety, has given fans an opportunity to see their favourite cricketers of yesteryears in action. Besides the trio, the Indian legends squad also features the likes of Mohammed Kaif, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel, and Naman Ojha. The series began with India Legends taking on Bangladesh Legends on March 5 at Raipur.

In the 2021 season of the Road Safety World Series opener,India thrashed Bangladesh by 10 wickets. Sehwag tormented Bangladesh's bowling line-up with his unbeaten 80 off just 35 balls. The Indian bowling attack bowled Bangladesh out for 109 runs and had 59 balls to spare as they chased down the target. Both Sehwag and Tendulkar turned the clock by putting on 114 runs in 10.1 overs.
