Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed on Tuesday became the fifth bowler from his country to claim a hat-trick in one-day internationals.
Taskin achieved the feat during the second ODI of the three-match series against Sri Lanka in Dambulla.
Taskin dismissed Sri Lanka's Asela Gunaratne, Suranga Lakmal and Nuwan Pradeep in three back-to-back deliveries to achieve the feat.
The first Bangladesh bowler to take a hat-trick was Shahadat Hossain. He achieved the feat against Zimbabwe in 2006.
Abdul Razzak (vs Zimbabwe in 2010), Rubel Hossain (vs New Zealand in 2013) and Taijul Islam (vs Zimbabwe in 2014) are the three other Bangladesh bowlers who claimed a hat-trick in ODIs in the past.
Pakistan's Jalal-ud-Din was the first player to take a hat-trick in ODI history. He took three back-to-back wickets against Australia in 1982.
