Home advantage will give the Indian Premier League teams Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad a distinct advantage over the other six foreign teams involved in this edition of the Champions League Twenty20, and CSK coach Stephen Fleming says Indian teams don't have to change the way they play in the IPL.

"The key thing from an Indian side's perspective is that we do not change too much. The challenge is for overseas teams. They need to get adjusted to the conditions," Fleming told the official CLT20 website. "Intensity will be our challenge and we have to make sure that we stick to what works for us and not try and be something different."

When asked if Chennai have done their homework in regards to facing the teams they are not too familiar with, Fleming said, "I think there is enough cricket played where you can garner the information through different sources. We have watched the Australian teams in the Big Bash. The other teams have watched the IPL."

CSK captain MS Dhoni, who will play his first T20 game in front of his home crowd, was keen that the team gets some good practice in Ranchi going into the tournament. "As a team, we would try and make use of the practice sessions that we have before our first game, because we have not had a lot of time to practice. Hopefully, the weather should get better in the days to come so that we can play some good practice matches," Dhoni said.

CSK play their first match against the Titans on September 22 in Ranchi.
