New Delhi: Having won the second Test of the series against Australia in Bengaluru on the fourth day itself, Virat Kohli and his boys have an eight-day ‘Holi break’ before the boys reassemble in Ranchi to play the third Test of the four-match series from March 16.

And the boys are making the most of their break as has been evident from their latest posts on social media platforms Instagram and Twitter.

Skipper Kohli is as usual leading the way off the field as well. After posting a picture of him relaxing at home on Friday, he posted another picture on Saturday morning where he talks about having a good time at a restaurant in the Capital.

Kohli’s post on Friday read: “Detox at home 😃👌. Love it 🔝💯💯”.

And the one on Saturday morning read: “About last night at this cool new spot in delhi called 'nueva'. A picture with the super chef mr Michael swami was a must ✌️😎🔝. Loved the food and the ambience as well. Top spot.”.

KL Rahul, Man of the Match in the last Test, has been busy spending time with his dog Simba. In fact, he posted a witty picture from his dog’s Instagram profile where Simba is seated next to the Man of the Match Trophy and thanks Rahul for safely delivering it to him.

The post read: “I would like to thank BCCI @indiancricketteam for giving me this award 😎 And I would like to thank @rahulkl for transporting it safely to me since I couldn't be there to collect it 🏆

Spin spearhead R Ashwin has been busy switching off after an intense battle in the Bengaluru Test and posted pictures of him trekking with teammates Abhinav Mukund, Wriddhiman Saha, Karun Nair and Murali Vijay.

The Instagram post reads: “Going away from the battle is equally important as staying in it.”.

‘Sir’ Ravindra Jadeja as he is fondly called has used the time away from the game to finish his advertisement commitments with a sports apparel brand.

The post on Twitter read: “Check out my new zeven look!!”.

Clearly the Men in Blue are making the most of their time away from the game. Things should only get more colourful with the festival of Holi slated to be celebrated on March 13.
