Indian captain Virat Kohli and star batsman Cheteshwar Pujara surprised a few fans in Colombo as the two stars were seen walking in the streets with their kits in tow.

Usually, the Indian team is guarded by a strong security cover, giving the fans almost no access to their stars.

This time too, a security cordon was there but it was a rather thin one and fans were seen clicking selfies with their stars.

BCCI posted the video on Twitter, with caption: Meanwhile...somewhere across the streets of Colombo - Awestruck fans and a road walk courtesy @imVkohli & @cheteshwar1 #TeamIndia

While many tried taking selfies, one or two lucky fans managed to come close enough to Kohli for a proper selfie before security moved them away.

Kohli, showing off his tattoos, was seen dragging a kit bag dressed in a sleeveless India jersey while Pujara had a bag strapped onto his back.

India is currently on a full tour to Sri Lanka, with the three match Test series beginning from July 26 before the team plays 5 ODIs and 1T20.
