And opener Shikhar Dhawan who hit 63 posted a photo on Instagram where he is seated with Bravo, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane at the West Indies all-rounder’s home. The post read: “Had great time and food @djbravo47 home, @virat.kohli @ajinkyarahane 😀😜🕺🏻🕺🏻”
Earlier, Bravo, along with half-brother Darren Bravo, met some of the Indian players at the Queen's Park Oval when the 'Men in Blue' were busy practicing ahead of the first ODI between the two teams. Both the players are not part of the West Indies squad.
Dwayne Bravo has had a long-standing relationship with Indian cricketers due to his stints in the Indian Premier League. Bravo has been a star performer for franchises like Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Lions, although he missed the entire season this year due to an injury.
Bravo shares a good bond with most of the Indian players amd was instrumental in ensuring that West Indies won the first of two T20Is in Florida against India as he bowled a tight last over and got the better of MS Dhoni, who could not finish the match for India.
