New Delhi: It is no secret that Virat Kohli is the toast of the nation. So when the India skipper was forced to walk out after injuring his shoulder while fielding on the opening day of the third Test against Australia in Ranchi, cricket fans across the country wore a worried look. And the fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief as Kohli hit the nets on Saturday morning.
With India pacer Umesh Yadav already making it clear on Friday evening that there was no major reason to worry about Kohli’s condition, there were still doubts in the fans’ minds as Kohli hadn’t taken the field on the second day.
But all the doubts have been put to rest as Kohli was seen having a good knock at the practice wickets on Saturday morning before the start of the third day’s play. He had Anil Kumble and the team's medical staff for company. And there was no discomfort visible.
Andrew Ramsey from Cricket Australia took to Twitter to post a video which read: “Virat Kohli batting in Ranchi nets this morning. Looks set to bat at fall of next wicket #INDvAUS.”

Clearly there is no stopping Kohli. Even though there were rumours that he might be out for close to 10 days after the injury, Kohli loves proving the detractors wrong.
