Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar Tell You Dos & Don'ts For Holi

As the entire country has been engulfed in the celebration of festival of colour — Holi — legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and current skipper Virat Kohli asked their fans to refrain from doing 'certain things' on the day.

New Delhi: As the entire country has been engulfed in the celebration of festival of colour — Holi — legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and current skipper Virat Kohli asked their fans to refrain from doing 'certain things' on the day.

The duo took to twitter, requesting the nation to celebrate the festival with all their hear but keeping few things in mind.

Tendulkar posted a message on social media asking everybody to be safe, but also gave out a wonderful social message alongiwth it. Sachin's twitter post read: 'May this #Holi add more colours to your life. Have a happy & safe Holi! Also, a small request to save water :)'

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was more vocal about his beliefs as he posted a video on twitter, requesting everybody not to put colours on animals. Kohli's twitter post read: 'Happy Holi everybody. Have a great day today. Please make sure no harm is done to the animals on the streets. God Bless all.'

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh', Virender Sehwag also took to twitter to wish his fans happy holi. However, his fans will be disappointed that Viru didn't wish is his typical way that has made him a rage on social media. Sehwag's twitter post read: 'Playing Holi Jamkar !vMay the festival of colours spread joy, peace,happiness,wealth, and celebration in your life. #HappyHoli !'

Current India cricketers Suresh Raina and Buvneshwar Kumar also took to social media to express their happiness on the festival of colors.

Former Australian captain Michael Clarke was also seen enjoying the festival of colour with great enthusiasm. Clarke was pictured completely drenched in colours as he celebrated Holi with some families in the capital.

These cricketers may be idolised by millions around the globe, but they are well aware of their social responsibilities as well, which is evident from Sachin and Virat's messages.
