Toss won by West Indies (decided to bowl)

West Indies beat India by 9 wickets

Man of the Match: Evin Lewis

Match Ends: Lewis finishes off the match in style as he hits a huge six to win the match. West Indies crush India by 9 wickets in the one-off T20I.

Four: Marlon Samuels wants to finish the match in a hurry as he slogs the ball on the leg side for a boundary. Windies need just 4 runs to win the match now.

Four: It is raining boundaries out there and as it Lewis' carnage wasnt enough, Samuels to is hitting the occasional boundary. Samuels guides the ball for a boundary on the off side with the faintest of touches. 100 partnership up between Lewis and Samuels.

SIX: And again! This time Lewis hits the ball over the mid-off boundary for his 11th six of the innings. The Indian bowlers are looking helpless as it is raining sixes out there.

SIX: 10th six of the innings for Lewis as he comes walking down the ground and hits the Ravindra Jadeja delivery straight over the bowler's head. The ball almost went out of the stadium again.

Stumping Chance: Dhoni misses his second stumping chance of the innings as he fails to gather the ball. Samuels came dancing down the track and missed the ball completely but lucky for him, even Dhoni missed it.

Four: Samuels is also enjoying in stint out there and he is showing his skills with some boundaries. This time the right hander hits a cover drive off the bowling of Kuldeep for a boundary.

SIX: Lewis reached 99 with yet another maximum down the ground. Poor bowling from Jadeja as he is not learning from his mistakes and keeps on bowling half volleys.

SIX: Lewis is having fun out there now as he enters into the 90s with a massive six down the ground of the bowling of Jadeja. At this rate, Windies will win the match will many balls to spare.

Four: Another inside edge off the bat of Samuels and this time it beats the fielder at short fine leg and goes for a boundary. Third boundary of the Shami over as Virat Kohli is looking frustrated.

Four: Cross seam delivery from Shami and Samuels hits the ball over the cover region for a boundary. The right hander is reall storng in the region. Back to back boundaries for Samuels.

Four: Nothing is going India's way as an edge off the bat of Samuels goes away for a boundary behind the keeper. Shami has bowled poorly in this innings and when he has bowled well too, like this ball, it goes for a boundary.

Indian fielding and bowling has been shocking to say the least. Two dropped chances and six wides already. India need to control these and take wickets quickly if they want to win the match from here.

SIX: Another huge six off the bat of Lewis. The southpaw gets down on one knee and bludgeons the ball over the square leg boundary off the bowling of Kuldeep for a six. Lewis is making it look easy out there.

Samuels is batting really well and sensibly out there. All he is doing is giving the strike back to Lewis and not taking many risks.

SIX: Lewis once again taking the attack to Shami and hits a huge six off his bowling. Full toss from the Indian pacer and Lewis easily hits it over the bowler's head for a huge six.

SIX: That's just poor from R Ashwin. The spinner bowls a full toss and Lewis hits the ball straight over the bowler'e head and it crashes into the sight screen. Windies in command of the chase.

At the rate which Evin Lewis is scoring runs, this match could finish off early. India need to dismiss him quickly or the Men in Blue will end the tour on a losing note.

OUT: India finally get a chance to come back into the match as Kuldeep gets rid of Chris Gayle for 18. The southpaw tried to hit the ball away from the spin and gave away and easy catch to Dhoni.

Dropped Again: What is up with the Indian fielders as this time Dinesh Karthik drops Evin Lewis on the mid-off boundary ropes. He points at Virat Kohli to say that he distracted him who was also coming in to take the catch.

Six and FIFTY: Kuldeep Yadav comes to bowl and Lewis hits the ball for a huge six down the ground to notch up his scintillating half-century.

After winning the five-match ODI series 3-1, India will certainly have an upperhand despite the presence of Gayle, who can single-handedly swing fortunes especially in the shortest format.

However, Gayle will be donning the Caribbean maroons after a gap 15 months during which he has battled injuries as well as poor form during the IPL, which was his last competitive tournament before this particular game.

West Indies are reigning world champions with the likes of Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree still a part of the current squad led by their World T20 hero Carlos Brathwaite.

Also there's Evin Lewis, who had scored a 49-ball-100 in West Indies' one-run win over India in a T20 game in Florida, last year.

But T20 is one format where the home team starts on even keel against an Indian team which had its foot firmly on the pedal save an occasional blip in Jamaica.

India: Virat Kohli (captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, Mohammed Shami.

West Indies: Carlos Brathwaite (capt), Samuel Badree, Ronsford Beaton, Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Marlon Samuels, Jerome Taylor, Chadwick Walton (wk), Kesrick Williams.
