West Indies vs Sri Lanka Live Score, 1st Test, Day 3 WI vs SL at Antigua

2 wickets in hand! 99 runs ahead! With this scenario welcome to Day 3 of this first Test between West Indies and Sri Lanka. Having folded for just 169 runs in their first innings, Sri Lanka did well to come back with the ball as Suranga Lakmal was the star with the ball as he took 5 wickets as they had West Indies tottering at 171/7 but a 90 run stand between Rahkeem Cornwall and Joshua Da Silva robbed them away of the momentum as West Indies took a handy lead of 99 runs and with two wickets left and Cornwall going strong at the crease they would hope to add a few more runs to their tally. Sri Lanka on the other hand would look to wipe out the West Indies innings quickly and then bat sensibly to post a winning total in this first Test. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned as we bring all the live coverage as the action unfolds on Day 3.

A fantastic day of Test cricket comes to a close! It was a bit of a see-saw on Day 2. West Indies did well for most parts in the morning session but had to share the session after losing their second wicket at the fag end. The afternoon session was full of intent from Sri Lanka, as powered by Suranga Lakmal’s splendid bowling, they created quick inroads. Just when the touring team hoped to capitalize and restrict West Indies’ lead under 50, a partnership blossomed.
