Hasan Ali - A star in the making. That's the tag he has earned for himself. He has a great ability to surprise any batsman with his pace and is pretty clever at deceiving anyone with his subtleness. His career is still in its earlier stage but his performances have earned accolades from experts around the globe.

Hasan's attitude on the field is quite impressive as he belongs to one of those breeds which just relents to give up and has a never-say-die attitude. The pacer hailing from Punjab has made his mark on the bigger stage. He bowled exceptionally well in his first ICC mega event where he was the leading wicket-taker for picking 13 wickets and was the tormentor-in-chief for Pakistan in the Champions trophy, 2017.

The tournament didn't start on a bright note for the young lad and his team. He had an outing to forget against India in the tournament opener but he kept faith in his abilities and stunned the cricketing circuit with a strong comeback. For his efforts, he was awarded the Player of the Tournament and played an instrumental role in Pakistan's first title triumph in the Champions trophy. His consistency with the ball was simply unparalleled in that year which helped him claim the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings for the bowlers in the month of October, just 17 months after his debut.

In a short little career, he has done some amazing things. In his first 30 games, Hasan Ali already picked up three five-wicket hauls and a four-fer. His best overseas performance came in Sydney where he picked up a five-wicket haul which includes the likes of David Warner, Steven Smith, and Glenn Maxwell. After proving his mettle in the limited versions of cricket, he will be keen to leave his mark in Test cricket.

Earlier, he made his FC debut in 2013 and immediately grabbed the attention of the national selectors and has never looked back since then. He has been seen as a future superstar for Pakistan, provided he continues in the same vein.

Ali has been a regular member for Peshawar Zalmi for a couple of seasons in Pakistan Super League and was the member of the 2017 title-winning squad. He is a handy lower order batsman also with the ability to clear the boundary with utmost ease which makes him fit the category of the bowling all-rounders.
