WATCH | DLS Not Ideal But is the Only Solution Currently Available: Kumble

Cricketnext Staff | July 10, 2019, 8:15 AM IST

On a day where rain played hide and seek throughout, the first semifinal between India and New Zealand will now be played on the reserve day. But had the rain receded on Wednesday, India would have faced a potentially tricky situation chasing 148 in 20 overs (DLS method) despite restricting New Zealand to 211/5 in 46.1 overs. Anil Kumble, former India captain and Cricketnext brand ambassador, agreed that DLS was not foolproof but it was the only solution currently available.
