EXCLUSIVE | India Deserved Series Win but Windies Competed Well in Final T20I: Brian Lara

Cricketnext Staff | November 12, 2018, 8:14 AM IST

Former West Indies skipper Brian Lara was of the opinion that while India completely outperformed the Windies in the first two Twenty20 Internationals, the away side can be proud of the kind of performance they put up in the final T20I in Chennai on Sunday. A 130-run partnership between Shikhar Dhawan (92) and Rishabh Pant (58) was enough to take India home as they successfully chased down a stiff target of 182, although the match came down to the final ball after both set batsmen departed towards the end of the game.
