Cheteshwar Pujara emerged as India's saviour on day one of the first Test against Australia at Adelaide. Courtesy his brilliant 123, the team posted 250/9, after they were reduced to 86/5 at one stage. After the day's play Pujara said that this innings was among the top five knocks of his career. He went on to add that even his teammates felt that this was one of his best performances. Reflecting on the day's proceedings, Pujara said that the top order could have batted better, and hopes for a better show from the team in the second innings.
