Pakistan bowling coach Azhar Mahmood said after their close win over Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup 2019 that it is a good thing that the bowlers are able to get wickets early in the match as it helps them put the opposition under pressure more easily. "It is a really good sign that we are taking wickets with the new ball. Before this World Cup, we were struggling to get early wickets. If we take 1 or 2 wickets with the new ball then it becomes easier for our spinners or even Wahab to put the new batsmen under pressure," Mahmood said in the mixed zone.
