Apart from Cheteshwar Pujara's 123, all the other Indian batsmen failed to put up a decent performance against Australia on day one of the Adelaide Test. After the day's play former India international Rohan Gavaskar expressed his disappointment at the way Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant got out. Network 18 Group Editor (Sports) Gaurav Kalra goes on to say that Australia, who boast of a strong bowling line up, were helped by some sub-standard batting by the Indians. He also credited skipper Tim Paine for attacking the Indian batsmen right through the day. Cricket expert Ayaz Memon is of the opinion that it is the mindset of Indian batsmen, to dominate the bowlers that led to their downfall.
