India opener Murali Vijay announced his arrival to form as he scored a brilliant 129 in the practice game against Cricket Australia XI. This knock, and Prithvi Shaw's untimely injury means that the 34-year-old is certain to play in the first Test at Adelaide starting December 6. After the knock, Vijay said that he maintained a positive frame of mind despite being dropped from the team midway through the England tour, and worked hard on his game & fitness during that time. The stylish batsman also added that playing at Adelaide, where he scored a ton in 2014, will help him to do well.
